Christ beside me,
Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet,
Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
In the midst of our Lenten observance we pause to remember and
celebrate Saint Patrick. The words of his own prayer called the Lorica or Breastplate remind
us where we can find Christ Jesus from moment to moment.
