It strikes us that these words from the letter of Saint Paul to the Colossians might be words that we monks could address to one another each day as we gather for prayer:
Let the word of Christ dwell
in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the
Lord.
