We have no other way but Christ. To him we cling
in all our anguish, in all our inability to repent, to purify ourselves, to pray. For he is our repentance, our cleansing, our prayer. It is in him that "anguish for death" becomes "anguish for God." For God incarnate, descending to hell, chose the way of horror in order to set us free.
